There are still opportunities in apartment properties, but many sellers, sensing that many buyers are sitting on the sidelines, are sitting on the sidelines as well. Uncertainty is a terrible thing.

A couple of final notes:
We are not trying to assemble a huge database of buyers. We will work closely with a limited number of clients who are serious about taking advantage of the current real estate opportunities. “Serious” does not necessarily mean “experienced” or even “knowledgeable”. It does mean that you have pre-qualified with a lender, will have at least some time, even in evenings or on weekends, to look at properties, and are ready to make a move when the right opportunity comes along. If that describes you, we can help you capitalize on the current real estate market.
We are not pursuing listing of REO properties. We prefer to work with buyers. The only way we can do that effectively is with a signed Buyer Representation Agreement. Without that, we would be representing the seller, even though we are dealing with you and showing you properties. Foreclosures/REO will be listed with an agent, and will include a commission in the list price, so it will cost you nothing to have a Buyer Rep.
We are commissioned salespeople, but we are in the business for the long haul, and we are just as likely to discourage you from making a bad choice as we are to encourage you to grab an opportunity.
